Bird Repelling Detection Is Key!
Our Infrared Sensor detects warm bodies up to 82 ft away from the device in a 120° Arc.
That's 2x the COVERAGE of most other electronic/sonic/ultrasonic bird repellers sold today
Triple Scan Technology
Our Infrared Sensor uses 3 separate viewing points instead of the conventional 1-2 window design for better detection. You get a more precise and attentive reaction when birds intrude into your area.
Dominating Ultrasonic Sounds
These sounds are made to prevent unwanted birds from entering your yard & completely eradicate pests from your area. These bird-repelling sounds travel beyond the triple scan's 82-foot detection area for a total 7,000 sq ft of sound coverage.
More Powerful Bird Ultrasonic Repelling = Better Results!
Hints for Success in Multiple Situations
I have LOTs of birds
This can work to annoy enough birds to whittle down their numbers until there are few enough to switch back to Sensor Mode.
The birds are super high up, like in a tree or on a roof
For birds in a tree, the branches can potentially block the infrared beam. Pull the device out past the furthest branch and set it on its back, with the window aimed at the sky.
For birds on a roof, you can similarly aim the device up at where the birds fly in from, or you could (safely) try setting the device up on the roof
Birds are getting into my garage or barn
sitting above a car
entering a garage
landing on a boat spar/mast
entering a barn
It's best to aim your device at the point where the birds are landing or entering. While the device is sensitive enough to be triggered from 100+ feet; we've found that 10-20 feet away tends to be an ideal distance
My neighbor is feeding birds but they make a mess in MY yard
Place the repeller near the area on your property where the birds are making a mess.
Aim the front, white window towards the area that the birds are approaching from to startle them before they get to your property.
The infrared beam shoots out of the front, white window about 100 feet, and the beam spreads out in a 120 degree horizontal arc. The vertical is 90 degrees (45 up, 45 down)
Tell Me More
Tell Me MoreThat audible sound annoys me (or my neighbor)
The "Low" Sonic Frequency setting is best for startling birds because it's an audible sound:
but
it's also audible to humans, and everything that can hear in the same range: birds, cats, dogs, your annoying neighbors, etc.
If the audible setting won't work for you; look to the picture below for an easy fix!
The Low Frequency setting is Audible
Birds hear the same sounds as humans, that why they fly away when you clap your hands or yell at them...
Birds can hear a little bit into the ultrasonic range, but not much higher than humans, and less than cats and dogs.
That's why this device has a slider switch, so YOU can control the frequency!
The bird is sitting on the device??
This actually means a couple things:
The device
is
annoying the bird enough that the bird changed to a spot where it wouldn't trigger the sound
The bird approached the device from behind or the side and didn't break the IR beam
Sometimes, adjusting the angle of the device a little can help better cover more areas that the birds approach from
There are a lot of settings
This device has many settings to help with obstacles to success:
Birds used to Urban Noise Pollution are likely to be used to loud noises
Neighbors (or you?) are annoyed by the audible setting
The birds don't seem to react to the sensor mode
We designed this device with so many settings for a reason, and many customers have been successful after making one or two changes to the settings --so if you're having trouble -- we are available thru your Amazon account to help dial in the exact settings for your situation. We are here to help
Is your Bird Repeller too noisy? Here's how to fix it!
Is your Bird Repeller too noisy? Here's how to fix it!
If your bird repeller is too noisy, the fix is easy.
A
–
The beeping is TOO loud!!
-->
Slowly adjust the Sonic Frequency slider toward High (slide to the right).
Allow 1 minute to pass after each adjustment
until you stop hearing the audible beep.
B
–
The Sound & LED lights go off too easily
-->
Adjust the Sensitivity toward Low (slide to the left). If the sensitivity switch is all the way to the right (High), the infrared beam should be triggered my movement up to 82' out from the device. If the sensitivity switch is all the way to the left (Low), the infrared beam should be triggered my movement about 10-15' out from the device.
1. The device is on but the sound or the flashing light never turn on.
A. Both the sound and the light have a setting that forces them to stay OFF even when the infrared beam is triggered. Please double check that the top two switches are set to "SENSOR" mode and not "OFF"
2. The sound or the flashing light never stop.
A1. Both the sound and the light have a setting that forces them to stay ON even when the infrared beam is not triggered. Please double check that the top two switches are set to "SENSOR" mode and not "CONT."
A2. The Sensitivity Switch is set too high and the device is being triggered by random motion. Please turn this down.
3. This sound is annoying me or my neighbor.
A. This device is designed to be audible to startle birds, but you can adjust the "Sonic Frequency" slider a little over halfway toward the right to go into an inaudible-to-humans sound. This is less effective for startling birds but at least it won't bother you or your neighbor.
4. It's not working on pigeons or ducks!
A. Honestly, pigeons and ducks are 50/50. Some customers report great success and others get none. We suspect that an adjustment to settings would help the unlucky customers and we are available on Amazon to assist.
