    Description

    This is a commercial grade, Nova Lynx 8" Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge model 260 series 2500. Condition is used, will be tested and cleaned before shipping.  I have over 20 rain gauges of several manufacturers.  The newer ones are the Nova Lynx, many of them are less than two years old.  I also have ADS data loggers, pictured in the large aluminum blue cans, sold separately.  You would need to have experience with ADS and a communication cable to use these.  I can also recommend an inexpensive data a logger to suit your needs and instruct you on how to use them. They measure .01" of rainfall per tip.
    The model 260 series 2500 Tipping Bucket Rain Gauges are dependable instruments used for measuring precipitation. Rainfall entering the 8" funnel collector is directed to the tipping bucket assembly. When an incremental amount of precipitation has been collected, the bucket assembly tips and activates a magnetic reed switch.
